This short series is produced by Radio Television Hong Kong. RTHK produces lots of educational and public affairs programmes because the government funds it. It seems a bit ironic since this series brings out the problems in the society, mostly the problems that certain groups of Hong Kong people think the government should solve. The problems such as waiting for the government to collect old buildings and rebuild, the new job listings for Hong Kong, discrimination of other races, expensive property and rent, the next generation, dealing with complaining, Hong Kong and China marriage, minimum wage, health care, debt, pressure, senior citizens, and choice.
They created a small society with the eight main casts. Each episode says a different problem with a different actor or actress leading.

Favorite actor – John, at first he was a bit weird but because of his relationship with his daughter Leila, it made him (them) so lovely and fun to watch. Closely followed by Gordon, too bad Gordon didn’t have as much screen time or an episode really really focusing on him.

Favorite actress – Leila, if it wasn’t for her I don’t think I would have watched this. My favorite episode would be episode 2, where the main focus was on her.

Favorite couple/chemistry – Leila and John, they were great as father and daughter. Really sweet seeing Leila going to John and calling him daddy or when Leila was ‘coying’ John.

There weren’t really any relationships really going on, which I liked, having relationships going on would be more complex and undeveloped. They shouldn't even have anything dealing with relationships with these short series unless it is really fast.
Overall the cast was good and seemed to have a good time filming.

Favorite episode – 2, the other episodes could have been skipped since I don’t care about the ‘problems’ because I am not in Hong Kong right now, the problems don’t closely relate to me and they weren’t written well. It may be hard to show the problem within 20 minutes but I think it is still possible to do better. The only thing I watch for was Leila and John’s father-daughter relationship.

If they have a 20 minutes sitcom style series I think they should have ‘finished’ that story/topic instead of leaving open endings (not the open endings of the problem but their own storylines).
-Dor Dor had an ex-husband and went back to Hong Kong covered in debt, I don’t recall hearing anything about her debt being paid off.
-Her ex-husband that I don’t even know if it really is him came back to find Leila but disappears after throwing his luggage downstairs. I thought they would at least say something or talk about it or something.
-She hid what her real job was and I thought at least someone would know since that’s how series are (not a big problem).
-CEO has a wife and they divorced to cheat the government in declaring bankruptcy and I thought they were going to say something about it.

These scenes made it felt like it was 45 minutes cut into 20 minutes or I missed something. Some of the things went by so fast and some of them dragged on. I’m glad it is 20 minutes or else I probably won’t have finished the whole thing.
Especially the last episode, it felt so weird. It didn’t seem like the end, of course there wouldn’t be an end to the problems but at least a wrap up for the characters. It didn’t feel like an ending. Still I enjoyed this short series, but it's not one of those must watch stuff. If they do have part 2 and have the same cast and it is the same length maybe I will watch it too.

My Rating: 5/10, won’t re-watch (episode 2 is an exception)
