I was a little bit interested in this because there was Ada. Even that the sales presentation was filmed differently it seems like there wasn’t much difference from the series (or was the ‘something’ I read about deciding on filming this a long time ago real).

Ada Choi was the highlight and main focus of the show, she was funny when she was Yvonne and sexy when she was Janet Bin. Overall solid performance as always.

Moses Chan was mysterious at first but once it kind of cleared off he was plain boring. He was kind of a useless and started to get annoying near the end.

Raymond Cho started off as ‘the little kid’ but when he changed ‘evil’ it did get better but it wasn’t that great.

Kenny Wong was the best out of the 3. He was very cool and this is an interesting role. Too bad he got less screen time near the end. I would gladly take Moses’ and give it to Kenny.

Rachel Kan was representing the upper class(?) but too bad there wasn’t a lot of focus on her either.

Catherine Chau was more of a ‘typical middle-age HK woman’. She seemed to change a lot, from looks to voice… Did the glasses make such a big change and wasn’t her voice more course before? She was also interesting, I would love to watch more of her but if only the scriptwriters handles it well and doesn’t put it too over the top.

The 3 woman were the most interesting but they put most of the screen time on Ada, not that I am complaining but the other 2 could have gotten a bit more.

Producer Chik (and his crew) has a way of doing series ‘differently’ and this is no exception. One thing (t)he(y) always do is ‘repeat’ and long talks. It is great when the actually write/show it well but some may be boring. It can be pretty repetitive if you don’t get that joke or point they are trying to say.

For example at first Moses is so ‘high class’ and has all these values, or should I say data for the golden ratio and doesn’t accept any jobs (is he a billionaire?) to the end where he is hosting talk shows to get clients or Ada’s numerous pages of script and talking to herself or ‘the talks’ from Lee Ka Ting or the doctors and nurses that are ones you would never want to meet (and I thought Chik produced Healing Hands II+III?), the problems or events in Hong Kong society (the government departments pushing away problems to another department). If you know/understand it, you might get that joke but if not… than too bad.
And as always the scriptwriters always start something off and doesn’t finish it or does a 180 degree change.

Even though it isn’t great it is still the best 2010 series up to now.

My Rating: 7/10, won't re-watch
